How do I join Foodbomb?

It’s easy to join Foodbomb and it’s free! We have a simple 3-step registration process:

  1. Firstly, we use our ‘postcode checker’ to make sure there are Foodbomb suppliers that deliver to your area. If your address is within our supplier delivery zone then you’ll be able to join!
  2. Complete the registration form with some of your details and wait for your email confirmation. If you don’t immediately see your verification email please check your spam folder.
  3. Once you’ve verified your email address, you’ll be able to log in to Foodbomb and start ordering with our suppliers!

Do you do home delivery?

We certainly do! At sign up you can choose either a Business account or a Personal Use account, both are free!

Please note that some suppliers only cater to Business accounts and will not deliver to a home address.

Why do you need my address?

So that you’re able to view the suppliers that deliver to your address, and so we can deliver your orders!
You are able to add multiple addresses to your account from the 'Locations' Tab once logged in.

Why do you need my email address?

We need your email address to set up your Foodbomb account. We also use this email address to send communication about your orders as well as notify you of any changes to the platform, special offers and discounts.

You have the option to change your invoice and communication email by heading to the 'Account Tab'.

How do Foodbomb deliveries work?

Once your order is placed on Foodbomb it’s sent straight to each supplier to action and deliver individually. At the checkout you have the option to select date and enter any delivery notes to your order for the Supplier to see.

The supplier fulfills the order on the morning of delivery and it is then shipped to you via the supplier’s driver team.

Delivery times vary between suppliers and can be affected by traffic, staffing and location. For specific delivery ETA’s please contact your supplier directly. These contact details are located on the Order Confirmation email sent to you.

How do I pay for my Foodbomb orders?

Paying with Foodbomb is super simple and we have 2 payment options available:

  1. Credit card is our default payment option and the easiest! You just need to ensure you have a valid credit card to place your Foodbomb orders.
  2. Alternatively, you can also set up a Zip Biz account if you prefer to pay for your orders on a monthly basis.

When you’re ready to check out you can choose to pay with either option!

Are there any requirements for placing orders and when do your suppliers deliver?

Each supplier has cut off times for next day delivery and minimum order amounts for free delivery.

All cut off times and delivery days are displayed on each supplier page on the platform. At checkout, you are free to request a delivery day up to 7 days in advance.

There is also a comments section for you to include your delivery requirements. We suggest putting as much detail as possible in this section.

What should I expect when I place my order?

Placing an order is simple with Foodbomb, here’s what to expect:

To place an order with a supplier, you just need to meet their minimum spend amount and check out.

At checkout you can select your delivery date and see all the information about your order. If you want your order to be delivered the following day, you need to ensure that your order is placed before the supplier’s cut off time.
You will be emailed a copy of your order, this email is called ‘Order Confirmation’ email. This email highlights all ordered goods, payment estimate, delivery date, address and supplier contact details.

The supplier is also sent a copy of your order. They will fulfill this order and dispatch it on your requested date.
Once your order has been dispatched, the supplier will update your order status on Foodbomb. At the time you will receive an email which outlines all final charges such as any out of stock items or weight variances.

Pending vs dispatched orders?

When you place your order with the supplier the order status is set as ‘Pending’. This status is then changed once the delivery has been shipped and received from Supplier.

Pending orders are highlighted in yellow and give you a clear idea of what order you’ve placed.

Dispatched orders are highlighted in green and gives you easy access to the relevant invoices for reconciliation purposes.

How do refunds and credits work?

Refunds are issued directly to your associated bank account.

In the case of a credit note this is issued as a Foodbomb code which can be applied at checkout for a new order. A Foodbomb credit can be used with any supplier.
